On the occasion of International Mountain Day, a cleanliness campaign was organized in the hill town of Dalhousie under the joint initiative of Hilldari Dalhousie, the Municipal Council, Police Administration, and PM Shri Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Memorial School.

The campaign was flagged off by DSP Dalhousie Mayank Sharma, who emphasized that mountains are not only symbols of natural beauty but also guardians of the environment and water resources. He remarked, “Dalhousie is too beautiful a city to be spoiled by litter. Keeping this hill town clean and scenic is our collective responsibility. The enthusiasm shown by school students in this drive is truly commendable. When the younger generation steps forward for environmental protection, positive change naturally follows in society.”

During the drive, students cleaned the stretch from Gandhi Chowk to the Bus Stand, collecting waste and spreading the message of cleanliness. The initiative aimed to raise awareness among youth about the importance of environmental conservation.

Hilldari Dalhousie and the Municipal Council expressed gratitude to all students, teachers, and guests who participated in the program.
