Sneha, daughter of Lehru Ram from the remote village Chobhugla in Brehi Panchayat, Bharmour Assembly’s non-tribal area, has qualified for the upcoming National Chess Championship to be held in Bengaluru.
Sharing the news, Bharmour–Pangi MLA Dr. Janak Raj expressed joy, calling it a proud moment that girls from far-flung regions are showcasing such talent and proving they can achieve any milestone through dedication and skill. He praised Sneha’s sharp mind and perseverance as truly inspirational.
Dr. Raj urged everyone to join in extending best wishes to Sneha for the Nationals. He also congratulated the teachers of Government Senior Secondary School Brehi and Sneha’s parents for their role in her success.
The event marks Sneha’s entry into the 69th National School Games Chess Championship 2025–26, a significant achievement for the region.
