Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla arrived in Dalhousie this evening for a two-day visit to Chamba district. He was warmly received by local dignitaries including MLAs Vipin Parmar and Dr. Hansraj, D.S. Thakur, and Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal, along with other district officials.
According to Deputy Commissioner Repaswal, the Governor will distribute relief material to disaster-affected families at the Panchayat Bhawan in Banikhet on Sunday, September 14, at 11 AM. Later in the afternoon, he will travel from Dalhousie to Chamba, where he will stay overnight at the Circuit House.
On September 15, Governor Shukla is scheduled to visit various disaster-hit areas across the district. He will depart for Nurpur in Kangra district later that afternoon.
