Vedanta Public School, located at Sham Nagar in Dharamshala, celebrated its 10th annual function with great enthusiasm and pomp.
Established in 2015, the school has carved a niche in the field of education by blending quality academics with Vedic traditions.
The event was graced by retired professor Rekha Dadwal as the chief guest. The programme commenced with Vedic chants and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a series of vibrant cultural performances by the students that captivated the audience.
Principal Hunat Jamwal shared that this year’s theme, “Utsaah” (enthusiasm), encompassed 28 performances, with active participation from students across all grades. He emphasised that the annual function aims to encourage students’ talent and enthusiasm.
Highlights of the event included captivating dance routines, melodious singing, dramatic plays and yoga demonstrations, which served as the centerpieces of the celebration. Additionally, students who brought laurels to the school throughout the year were honoured during the ceremony.
Chief guest Rekha Dadwal praised the students for their performance, stating, “This institution is playing a pivotal role not only in academics but also in the holistic development of its students.”
The event was attended by senior members of the school management and proud parents. The celebration left an indelible mark of joy and achievement for students, parents, and staff alike.
