Key Meeting Held at Chaurasi Temple Complex

A crucial meeting was organised by the Animal Husbandry Department at the historic Chaurasi Temple complex in Bharmour on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by Gulshan Kumar, Assistant Director of the department, and focused on the growing issue of stray dogs, their sterilization, and rabies control.
Addressing the gathering, Gulshan Kumar announced that under the Animal Birth Control (ABC) program, stray dogs in the region will soon undergo sterilization. Alongside, anti-rabies vaccination will be carried out to prevent the spread of this deadly disease.
He emphasized that the campaign’s primary goal is to humanely control the stray dog population while ensuring the safety of the public and livestock from rabies. A comprehensive action plan is being prepared by the department to implement the initiative effectively.
Appealing for cooperation, Kumar urged all concerned departments, Panchayat representatives, and local residents to support the campaign, stressing that public participation is vital for its success. He added that successful execution of the program will help ensure a safer and healthier environment in the region.
The meeting was attended by social worker Moti Sharma, Rajendra Bunty, Suresh Sharma, Vinod Sharma, Amit Sharma, Virender Sharma, and other dignitaries. The attendees welcomed the department’s efforts and assured full cooperation in tackling the stray dog menace.
