During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to complete arrangements in a time-bound and coordinated manner, emphasising that the President’s visit was a matter of prestige and responsibility for the district administration.
“All departments must begin coordination immediately to ensure that every aspect of the visit is managed efficiently,” Kashyap said.

Roads, sanitation and utilities to be upgraded

The Public Works Department (PWD) has been instructed to repair roads leading from Kalyani Helipad to The Retreat as well as other key routes the President’s convoy will take.
The Electricity Department has been asked to ensure proper maintenance of overhead power lines along these routes for safety and reliability.

The Health Department was also directed to ensure robust medical arrangements are in place throughout the duration of the President’s stay.

To streamline traffic flow and security, roadside parked vehicles will be removed from key areas, including Dhalli, Sanjauli and adjoining locations.
Adequate deployment of police personnel will be ensured at various points across the city and surveillance will be enhanced via CCTV cameras already installed at strategic spots.

ADM appointed nodal officer for coordination

Deputy Commissioner Kashyap stated that in case of any issues during the preparation phase, officials should directly coordinate with ADM (Law and Order) Pankaj Sharma, who has been designated as the nodal officer for this visit.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Verma, ADM (Protocol) Jyoti Rana, Additional SPs Navdeep Singh and Ratan Negi, SDM (Rural) Manjeet Singh, SDM (Urban) Oshin Sharma and senior representatives from various departments.
