In a major action against drug trafficking, the CIA team of Nurpur Police apprehended a 36-year-old man near Raja Ka Talab and recovered 10.14 grams of heroin from his possession.
Incident Details: During routine patrolling in the Gandhi Market area (Raja Ka Talab), police officers noticed suspicious activity by an individual. On being stopped and searched, the accused was found carrying heroin.

- Name: Ritesh Thakur (Age: 36 years)
- Father’s Name: Swaroop Singh Thakur
- Resident: Village & Post Office Amlela, Tehsil Jawali, District Kangra (H.P.)
Legal Action: The accused was immediately taken into custody. A case has been registered against him at Rehan Police Station under relevant provisions of the NDPS Act.
Further investigation in the matter is underway.
