Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Kangra at Dharamshala, Mr. R. Mihul Sharma, announced that under the directions of the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, and the Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Shimla, National Lok Adalats will be organized across all district and subordinate courts of Himachal Pradesh on September 12, 2026.
In Kangra district alone, nearly 15,000 cases have been listed for hearing and settlement during the Lok Adalat. These include matters related to banks, labor disputes, electricity and water bills, matrimonial issues, cheque bouncing, pre-litigation cases, and pending court cases. Citizens wishing to resolve disputes before filing a case may apply to the concerned court or legal services authority.

Mr. Sharma urged the public to participate in large numbers in the upcoming National Lok Adalat and resolve their disputes amicably through mutual settlement.
