Dharamsala: Captain Ajay Singh Yadav, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) OBC Department president, has appointed Chaudhary Narendra Kumar Neeshu Mongra from Kangra as the president of the Himachal Pradesh OBC Department.
This announcement was made by Puneet Malli, the state media in-charge of the Congress. Malli said the OBC community was elated with Neeshu Mongra’s appointment.
Expressing his gratitude, Neeshu Mongra thanked senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, national president Mallikarjun Kharge and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for this honour.
He further affirmed his commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities with utmost honesty and dedication, pledging to work tirelessly for the strengthening of the organisation.
This appointment is expected to bolster the Congress’ outreach and support among the OBC community in Himachal Pradesh, reflecting the party’s ongoing efforts to empower and represent diverse social groups within the state.
