A meeting of the Panchayat Samiti Bharmaur was held on Wednesday in the conference hall of the Mini Secretariat, Bharmaur. The meeting was chaired by Panchayat Samiti President Pooja Devi, with Dr. Janak Raj, MLA of Bharmaur–Pangi Assembly Constituency, present as a special guest.
The session included detailed discussions on ongoing development projects, public welfare issues, and progress at the panchayat level. Members highlighted problems and requirements from their respective areas. Key topics such as drinking water, roads, health, education, sanitation, and other basic facilities were addressed. Departmental officials provided updates on actions being taken regarding the issues raised.
ADM Bharmaur Vikas Sharma directed officials to prioritize public concerns raised by Panchayat Samiti members and ensure timely action so that better facilities could be provided to the people. Emphasis was placed on completing development works within stipulated timelines and ensuring that schemes effectively reach eligible beneficiaries.
At the conclusion, President Pooja Devi thanked all members and officials for their participation and valuable suggestions. She stressed that effective coordination between departments and panchayat representatives is essential to accelerate development at the grassroots level.
The meeting was attended by Vice President Jai Shankar, members Shilpa Devi, Mamta Sharma, Joshna Devi, Sarika, Usha Devi, Aarti Devi, Pravesh Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Manohar Lal, Shub Karan, Ravindra Kumar, Sunita Devi, Zila Parishad member Leela Sharma, Subhash Chand, BDO Bharmaur Sanjay Kumar, subject experts Jitendra Kumar (Agriculture) and Dr. Manohar Lal (Horticulture), Tehsil Welfare Officer Vikas, along with officials from the Electricity, Jal Shakti, and Public Works Departments.
