Paras Public School, Bhawarna, organized a grand and emotional programme on the occasion of Mother’s Day, filling the campus with joy, love, and gratitude. The school premises were beautifully decorated, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and affection.
The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati by Director Mr. Mahesh Chandra Katoch, Principal Mrs. Neelam Rana, and Mr. Dishant Katoch. Teacher Mrs. Rajni Katoch delivered a speech highlighting the greatness of mothers.
Students from Kindergarten to Class V presented a series of vibrant dance performances, expressing love, respect, and gratitude towards their mothers. A lively Punjabi Gidda by the girls drew loud applause, while Class V student Pranaya delivered a heartfelt speech on her deep affection for her mother.
Adding fun to the celebration, activities like Musical Chairs and a Ramp Walk became the highlight of the day. In Musical Chairs, Pooja secured first place, followed by Anshu Sharma and Smiley. In the Ramp Walk, Kalpana won first place, with Anita and Anu taking second and third positions respectively. The winners were honored with prizes by the Principal.
In her address, the Principal expressed gratitude to all mothers present, emphasizing that a mother is the first teacher in every child’s life and respecting her is the duty of all.
The celebration proved to be an inspiring and memorable experience for the students, beautifully blending emotions, creativity, and respect for motherhood.
