Six-year-old missing for 25 days — family alleges child is alive and hidden

Tension gripped Chamba town today when a distressed mother staged a road blockade outside the City Police Post, demanding answers about her missing six-year-old son. The woman sat on the road for nearly an hour, causing traffic disruption and drawing a large crowd of onlookers.
According to her allegations, 25 days ago her husband threw their child into the Ravi River. Despite extensive search operations by police and administration across different stretches of the river, no trace of the boy has been found.
The mother, however, insists her son is alive. She claims that another woman living with her husband has kept the child hidden. She demanded that both be brought before her and interrogated so the truth could be revealed.
