Monthly Crime Review and Welfare Meeting Held in Police District Nurpur

Under the chairmanship of the Superintendent of Police, Nurpur, the monthly crime review meeting was convened today at the district headquarters. The meeting was attended by all SDPOs, SHOs, police post in-charges, the chief clerk, and security officers.

Key Highlights of the Meeting:

  1. Crime Review: Discussions focused on the speedy disposal of pending cases, improving the quality of investigations, financial probes in NDPS cases, proposals under PIT NDPS, and strict measures to curb illegal mining.
  2. Panchayati Raj Elections: A detailed strategy was formulated to ensure robust security arrangements and peaceful conduct of the upcoming Panchayati Raj elections.
  3. Recognition: Officers and personnel who performed exceptionally were honored with appreciation certificates for their commendable contributions.

The Superintendent of Police directed all officers to adopt a professional work approach, strengthen traffic management, and enhance public cooperation in the fight against drug abuse.

Welfare Meeting: Following the crime review, a welfare meeting was also held under the SP’s leadership. Issues concerning police personnel were heard, and necessary instructions were issued to improve workplace conditions and overall welfare.

Police District Nurpur reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace, law and order, and ensuring the well-being of its personnel.
