At a special ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Shimla, the Kangra Saviour organization was honored for its remarkable contribution in the field of blood donation. The event was organized by the National Integrated Forum for Artists and Activists World in collaboration with the World Record of Excellence, England.
His Excellency Governor Kavindra Gupta presented a memento and citation to Kangra Saviour’s President Virendra Chaudhary. Alongside, certificates of appreciation were awarded to office bearers Tarun Talwar, Shiv Shankar, Rajiv Chaudhary, and five associated institutions, as well as other social organizations.
The program was attended by National President Pritpal Singh Pannu, State President Tarun Dhiman, and representatives of the World Record of Excellence, England.
In his address, the Governor praised blood donation as a noble act that inspires society, urging organizations to continue advancing in the service of humanity. He also administered an oath to representatives of various institutions to work against drug abuse.
Expressing gratitude, Virendra Chaudhary said the honor was the result of the collective hard work of all volunteers associated with Kangra Saviour.
