The Sub-Divisional level Independence Day celebrations will be held with great enthusiasm at the premises of Government Arya Degree College, Nurpur. This was announced by SDM Arun Sharma during a review meeting convened today to assess preparations for the event.
He informed that the ceremony will feature a grand march-past by Police, Home Guards, NCC, Scouts & Guides, and NSS units. In addition, school children will present vibrant cultural programs. To ensure smooth conduct of the event, all concerned departmental officers have been directed to complete arrangements on time.
The SDM urged officials and employees of all departments to remain present at the function.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Radhika Saini, BDO Ashok Kumar, PWD SDO Uminder Singh, Electricity SDO Puneet, SBI Chief Manager Ajay Kumar, along with officers, employees from various departments, and representatives of schools.
