The IAS officer invited all four into his cabin for discussions. During the meeting, Chauhan submitted a memorandum levelling allegations of fund misuse against the chairman of the State Cooperative Bank.

As the conversation progressed, an individual wearing a cap, seated in the middle, allegedly began misbehaving with the IAS officer. He reportedly made accusations of corruption against the bank and its managing director.

The situation escalated when, as per Palrasu’s complaint, the cap-wearing individual locked the office door and issued a direct death threat.

In response to the complaint, the police have launched an inquiry into the matter.
The IAS officer has also provided the police with a photograph showing three persons, identifying the one in the middle as the primary accused in the incident.
