Local issues to be presented before Chief Minister for resolution

Deputy Chief Whip of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, Kewal Singh Pathania, today chaired the Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar (Government at Your Door) programme at Gram Panchayat Chhatrari.
During the event, villagers raised various demands and grievances related to different departments. Pathania resolved several issues on the spot and directed officials to ensure time-bound action on the remaining matters. The Revenue Department issued 45 certificates and completed two land mutation cases during the programme.
He instructed officials to expedite pending gift deed cases under the Ghaira–Pyuhra–Chhatrari link road and restore traffic on a three-kilometre stretch. He also directed the construction of a grand entrance gate for the historic Maa Shiv-Shakti temple. Responding to local demands, Pathania asked the Block Development Officer to initiate work on upgrading the Ukhli village road and directed the Block Medical Officer to ensure the availability of essential medicines at the Chhatrari Primary Health Centre.
Assuring residents, Pathania said a detailed report on ground-level issues related to roads, drinking water schemes, and other development works will be prepared and submitted to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for necessary action.
The programme was attended by Surjeet Bharmauri (Chairman, District Congress Committee), Dildar Ali Watt (Chairman, Haj Committee), Amit Bharmauri (General Secretary, Pradesh Congress Committee), Panchayat representatives, and senior officials from various departments.
