Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal highlighted the benefits of the Chief Minister Sahara Yojana, stating that the scheme is being effectively implemented to provide social security and financial assistance to eligible beneficiaries suffering from notified diseases. Along with financial aid, beneficiaries also receive guidance and necessary support to help them overcome economic challenges during illness.
He informed that the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has introduced an online system to ensure transparent implementation. Currently, data of 4,050 active beneficiaries has been successfully transferred to the new online platform, with Aadhaar-based e‑KYC completed. Financial assistance for the period April to June 2026 is being disbursed.
The Deputy Commissioner further stated that new eligible beneficiaries can now apply online from home through the E‑Kalyan Portal at https://himparivar.hp.gov.in/ekalyan by selecting the Chief Minister Sahara Yojana option.
He urged all eligible individuals to obtain information about the scheme and submit applications on time. Panchayati Raj institutions, urban local bodies, health institutions, and related departments have also been asked to spread awareness so that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits.
