Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic bus accident near Chaluinj Mor in Bairagarh, Chamba district, which claimed seven lives.
In the mishap, 11 passengers sustained injuries and are currently under treatment. The Chief Minister directed the district administration to extend all possible assistance to the families of the deceased and ensure best medical care for the injured.
He conveyed heartfelt condolences, praying for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss. He also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The Chief Minister affirmed that the state government stands firmly with the affected families in this hour of grief.
As immediate support, the government has announced a relief amount of ₹25,000 for each deceased person’s family.
