Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday dedicated and inaugurated 14 developmental projects worth Rs. 76.41 crore in the Sulah Assembly Constituency of Kangra district during his one-day tour of the area. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly upgraded Tehsil, Sulah, strengthening administrative facilities for the local population.
Among the key projects inaugurated were a double-lane bridge over Moal Khad on the Hamirpur–Sujanpur–Thural–Maranda road constructed at a cost of Rs. 12.57 crore, and another bridge over Moal Khad on the Malag–Malaha link road built with an outlay of Rs. 3.57 crore. The Chief Minister also inaugurated a combined office building at Dheera constructed at a cost of Rs. 10.82 crore, and dedicated a Community Health Centre building at Dheera worth Rs. 5.02 crore to the public.
Giving a major push to healthcare and animal welfare infrastructure, the Chief Minister inaugurated Health Sub-Centre buildings at Kharul (Rs. 16 lakh), Bhoda (Rs. 15 lakh) and Kona (Rs. 25 lakh), besides a Veterinary Hospital building at Sulah (Rs. 89 lakh) and a Veterinary Dispensary at Moondhi (Rs. 49 lakh). In the education sector, he inaugurated additional accommodation of Government High School, Bhattu Samula, built at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh.

The Chief Minister also dedicated Rs. 5.45 crore projects for the improvement of distribution systems of WSS Jharet Rajhoon and WSS Prour Kharot in Palampur tehsil, along with the Rs. 31.69 crore Parour and multi-village group piped water supply scheme, benefiting parts of Bhawarna, Bhedu Mahadev Block and Ghaloon (Malnoon) under Sulah constituency.
In addition, foundation stones were laid for a Rs. 2.87 crore bridge over Moal Khad on the Gallu Bhoda–Shivnagar road, and a Rs. 2 crore additional complex of Chaudhary Tara Chand Government Senior Secondary School, Gaggal, in Dheera tehsil.
The Chief Minister said that these projects would significantly improve connectivity, healthcare, education and drinking water facilities, ensuring balanced and inclusive development of the Sulah Assembly Constituency.
