Celebrated as the “Mr. Cool” of Himachal politics, BJP MLA Sudhir Sharma marked his 53rd birthday with an inspiring act of philanthropy—distributing financial aid worth ₹59.70 lakh to nearly 100 needy families in his constituency.

Birthday Dedicated to Relief and Reconstruction
A day before his birthday, Sharma organised a modest yet impactful gathering at his residence, where he pledged support to families affected by recent natural disasters. His gesture comes at a time when the state is grappling with widespread calamities and the public is struggling for relief.

₹45 lakh was allotted to 30 families for constructing permanent homes

₹12.70 lakh was distributed among over 66 families for repair work

₹2 lakh was provided as emergency relief to 11 families

Sharma criticised the Congress-led state government for its alleged indifference towards disaster-hit citizens, stating that genuine public service doesn’t require holding office—it requires heartfelt intent.

Legacy Projects and Vision for Dharamshala
The MLA highlighted his contributions to transforming Dharamshala into a Smart City, including projects like Tulip Garden, sports fields in villages, and progressive municipal reforms. Under his leadership, Dharamshala has gained national recognition as a hub for education and sports.
