Final day sees 192 performers; total 816 artists participated in selection process

The audition process for artists aspiring to perform in the cultural programs of the International Minjar Fair 2026 concluded today. On the final day, 192 artists from different districts of Himachal Pradesh showcased their talent at the PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Chamba.
The auditions, held over five days, witnessed enthusiastic participation from performers across the state, including Chamba district. In total, 816 artists became part of this year’s selection process, informed District Language Officer Tukesh Sharma.
With the auditions now complete, all participants will be evaluated by an expert jury panel. Based on merit, selected artists will be given the opportunity to present their performances on the cultural stage of the International Minjar Fair 2026.
