BJP spokesperson Sanjay Sharma sharply criticized the Congress party’s protest during the Global AI Summit held at Bharat Mandapam. He alleged that the demonstration by Youth Congress workers was inappropriate and harmful to India’s international image.
Sharma accused Congress of engaging in what he described as “topless, shameless, brainless and faceless politics.” He argued that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi was showcasing India’s leadership in technology and artificial intelligence, Congress workers disrupted the event in front of foreign delegates.
Key Points from Sharma’s Remarks
- He claimed Congress leadership has “no issues left nor morality,” calling their protest an exposure of weakness.
- He described the act as “shameless,” saying it insulted India on an international platform.
- He labeled the protest “brainless,” arguing that Congress lacks vision in discussions about future technology.
- He said the party has become “faceless,” without clear leadership or policy direction.
Sharma further alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, influenced by his mentor Sam Pitroda, orchestrated the protest to damage India’s global standing. He warned that such actions amount to an “insult to 1.4 billion people” and predicted that Congress would become increasingly irrelevant if it continued with what he called “anarchic politics.”
