Kutlehar: Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu kicked off his election campaign on Thursday from Kutlehar area in Una district, declaring that the upcoming Lok Sabha seat would be announced from this district.

Emphasizing his commitment to grassroots engagement, Sukhu pledged to personally reach every Panchayat to ensure his message resonates with the people.

“I will go till the Panchayat level to ensure my voice reaches every household in the state. Our government’s initiatives will illuminate every corner of Himachal Pradesh,” Sukhu affirmed.

Taking a direct swipe at former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, Sukhu condemned the alleged horse trading of MLAs in Himachal Pradesh. He passionately appealed to eradicate this detrimental political practice from the state, rallying supporters with the slogan, “Ye Bikhau aur Khau nahi chalenge” (We will not tolerate buying and selling).

Furthermore, Sukhu announced Vivek Sharma as the Congress party’s candidate from the Kutlehar constituency, underscoring that this electoral battle transcends mere ticket allocation and is rooted in the fundamental principles of truth and integrity.

In a strategic move, Sukhu hinted at the imminent announcement of the Lok Sabha ticket from Una district by the Congress high command. He revealed that the party had conducted comprehensive surveys in preparation for this decision, promising that the outcome would soon be revealed to the public.
