Romance gets a fresh musical touch with the release of “Mere Mahiya”, a new track presented by the Feet of Fire Foundation, produced by Raja Singh Malhotra and developed as a project by Amit Bhatia. Singer Surjeet Chauhan lends his soulful voice to the track, while Lucky Garg and Pihu Zinta headline the music video with a fresh on-screen pairing.
The song brings together romance, melody and youthful energy, with the chemistry between Lucky Garg and Pihu Zinta emerging as one of its major attractions. Directed by Lil Bigg, the video gives the track a visually rich treatment while retaining its emotional core.
For producer Raja Singh Malhotra, the project is an attempt to create something that connects with audiences through both music and emotions. Amit Bhatia said the team wanted the song to have a fresh identity, with the visual treatment complementing its romantic mood.
Singer Surjeet Chauhan said the song is close to his heart and expressed confidence that its melody and emotional appeal would strike a chord with listeners.
The choice of location has also added a distinctive flavour to the project. Shot extensively in Una, the video uses the region’s natural surroundings to enhance its romantic visual narrative, giving the song a strong local backdrop while keeping its presentation contemporary.
The music has been composed by Shashi Bhushan Negi, with lyrics by Jaspreet Singh. Ashmit Kanwar is the Video Supervisor, Ashu Kathpal has handled Edit/D1, Parshotam Nagotra is the DOP and Vinay Negi has choreographed the video.
The project is a presentation of Downtown Media, with special acknowledgement to Vikas Goswami.
The release was attended by influencer Raja Saklani, education content creator Praveen Vashisht and Himani Vashisht, among others.
With its fresh pairing, soulful vocals and contemporary visual treatment, “Mere Mahiya” is now out for audiences, bringing a new romantic offering to the independent music space.
