Mahinder Patyal
Bharmour
On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, the office bearers of Manimahesh Press Club Bharmour bowed their heads in reverence at the historic Chaurasi Shiv Temple. Club President Vinod Thakur, along with senior members Mahinder Patyal, O.P. Sharma, and Pyar Sharma, offered prayers and sought blessings of Lord Shiva for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the region and for the successful completion of the sacred Manimahesh Yatra.
The members performed traditional rituals inside the temple premises, invoking divine grace for the happiness and harmony of the local community as well as the thousands of pilgrims who undertake the spiritual journey each year.

The Chaurasi Shiv Temple, an ancient and revered site in Bharmour, holds immense spiritual significance during the Manimahesh Yatra. Every year, devotees from across India and abroad visit this temple to seek blessings before proceeding to the holy Manimahesh Lake. The temple thus remains a central point of faith and devotion, symbolizing the deep cultural and religious heritage of Himachal Pradesh.
A solemn gesture by the Press Club, reinforcing the spiritual bond between Bharmaur’s historic temples and the pilgrims of Manimahesh.
