Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Poonam Dhawan, President of Dalhousie Hilltop School, emphasized the importance of sports in a child’s overall development.

“At Dalhousie Hilltop School, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. The sports field is where children discover their strengths, overcome their fears, learn to work as a team and develop the resilience to face life’s challenges. Every child who steps onto the field, regardless of whether they win a medal, is a winner in our eyes. Our goal is not simply to produce champions in sports, but to nurture confident, disciplined and well-rounded individuals.”

She further highlighted that the school’s emphasis on holistic education, physical fitness and active participation is integral to its philosophy of providing every child with opportunities to discover and develop their potential.

The Annual Athletic Meet reinforced Dalhousie Hilltop School’s longstanding commitment to nurturing academic excellence alongside physical fitness, character building and leadership. The event celebrated not only athletic achievement but also the courage to participate, the perseverance to improve and the joy of competing together.
