A three-day In-House Training Programme was successfully inaugurated today at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Kangra, under the blessings of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji and the guidance of Chairman Brahmachari Girish Ji. The programme was presided over by the Principal of the school, Ms. Pooja Sharma.
The primary objective of the training programme is to promote the professional development of teachers and strengthen the quality of teaching.
The first day commenced with Guru Pooja, Transcendental Meditation, and the chanting of “Jai Gurudev.” Following this, Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma warmly welcomed and felicitated the Resource Person, Mr. Anurag Sharma, Principal of Galaxy Public School, Nagrota Surian.
On this occasion, Mr. Anurag Sharma provided valuable guidance to the teachers on key educational themes. He highlighted the objectives of NEP 2020 and the evolving landscape of education, stressing the importance of continuous professional training for teachers. He also elaborated on the crucial role educators play in promoting the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of students, while emphasizing the need to instill moral values, discipline, responsibility, and a positive attitude among learners.
Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma remarked that such training programmes inspire teachers to continuously enhance their knowledge and skills. She added that a competent and aware teacher lays a strong foundation for the holistic development of students.
