Nurpur, June 27: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Nurpur unit today submitted a memorandum addressed to the SDM Nurpur regarding the hostel facility for college students. As the SDM was on leave, the memorandum was handed over to the Tehsildar to be conveyed to the administration.

Through the memorandum, ABVP demanded that the college hostel, currently being used for other purposes, be immediately made available to the students. The organization emphasized that the hostel primarily belongs to the college students, especially those coming from distant areas who face serious accommodation problems.

ABVP activists urged the administration to resolve this pressing issue at the earliest. They warned that if the hostel is not restored for student use soon, the council would be compelled to launch an agitation, which could include protests, sit-ins, and even road blockades.

The student body reiterated its commitment to fighting for student welfare, asserting that it has always stood firm on issues concerning the interests of students and will not back down on this matter.
