Gaggal (Kangra) – Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mongra has been appointed Chairman of the 20-Point Programme for the Kangra Assembly constituency by the Himachal Pradesh government. His appointment has sparked a wave of joy across Kangra district. Expressing gratitude for the new responsibility, Mongra thanked Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the trust placed in him.
It is noteworthy that Mongra has already been successfully serving as District and State President of the Congress OBC Department under APMC. Speaking on the occasion, he said this position is not merely a title but a responsibility to ensure that the government’s welfare schemes reach the last person standing in society. He emphasized that all 20 points of the programme—including poverty eradication, farmer welfare, healthcare, education, and social security—will be implemented without discrimination and delivered to the people on time.
Mongra also extended heartfelt thanks to the people of his constituency and dedicated party workers, acknowledging their support and blessings as the driving force behind his journey. “I am confident that with your continued guidance and cooperation, we will together script a new chapter of development,” he said.
Highlighting the success of the Aapka Sevak Aapke Dwar initiative, Mongra noted that the programme has been instrumental in bringing government schemes directly to the people while resolving their grievances. His rising profile signals that Nishu Mongra is emerging as a prominent face for Kangra’s future.
