Two-Day Workshop at Paras Public School, Bhawarna: Teachers Trained in AI and Digital Technologies

Paras Public School, Bhawarna, hosted a two-day workshop aimed at enhancing teachers’ awareness and skills in technological resources, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Intellectual Property (IP).

The workshop was inaugurated by School Director Mr. Mahesh Chandra Katoch, Principal Mrs. Neelam Rana, and the expert speakers with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony before the idol of Goddess Saraswati.

Key resource persons included Dr. Charanjit Singh from the Mathematics Department, Punjab University, Chandigarh; Mr. Shivank Rana, PGT Computer Science; and Mr. Mehr Chand Mahajan. A total of 46 teachers from various schools participated in the sessions.

The training covered:

  • Computer Science and Python programming
  • Applications of Artificial Intelligence in education
  • Effective use of digital tools for teaching and learning
  • Intellectual Property rights including copyright, patents, trademarks, and protection of creative works

Through practical activities, group discussions, and examples, teachers were encouraged to adopt modern technologies in their classrooms. Experts emphasized that the right use of technology can significantly improve the quality of education and redefine the role of teachers in today’s evolving academic environment.

At the conclusion, Principal Mrs. Neelam Rana expressed gratitude to the experts for their valuable time and insightful sessions. She highlighted the importance of teachers becoming technologically proficient, noting that knowledge of computers, AI, and IP will greatly enhance their teaching practices. She also thanked all contributors for making the workshop a success.
