Panic gripped Bhadiara village on Monday evening after a stray bull brutally attacked a farmer working in his fields. The victim, 45‑year‑old Naresh Kumar, sustained multiple fractures in his arm and leg. He was rushed to Tanda Medical College, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Family members reported that Naresh had gone to collect fodder when the powerful bull suddenly charged at him. Hearing his cries, nearby villagers rushed to the spot and managed to drive the animal away after much struggle.

Local social worker Kamlesh Dhiman highlighted the growing menace of stray cattle in the area. “Aggressive bulls roam freely in fields and on roads. Children and the elderly are afraid to step out of their homes,” he said.

Residents have urged the administration and the Animal Husbandry Department to take immediate action by capturing stray animals and sending them to gaushalas. Villagers warned that without timely intervention, such incidents could lead to a major tragedy.
