Rose Public School, Sulyali, celebrated World Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and joy under the guidance of Principal Mr. Sanjay Souguni and Vice Principal Mrs. Babita Souguni. Students from Classes IV to XII actively participated in the event.
During the programme, students practiced various yoga asanas and pranayama, joined by the principal, vice principal, and teachers, who conveyed the message of healthy living through yoga.
Adding charm to the celebration, the music department presented a melodious group song “Vishv mein shanti rahegi, yog se” performed by Jannat, Manvi, Aakriti, Saksham, Priyanshu, Dipesh, Suryansh, Avantika, Rhythm, Arushi, Kashish, and other students. Class XII student Janshi Thapa delivered an impactful speech on the importance of yoga, while Gaurav and Harshita Kaushal (Class XII), Mohit (Class XI), and Varsha (Class X, Dhaumya) showcased special yoga postures, displaying their talent impressively.
Physical education teachers Sunil Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Sunil Dutt, Rohit, and Rajiv, along with the entire teaching staff, were present. In his address, Principal Mr. Sanjay Souguni inspired students to make yoga a part of their daily routine, emphasizing that yoga not only improves physical health but also brings mental peace and spiritual growth.
The programme concluded with wishes for a healthy, happy, and disease-free life for all.
