Himachal Pradesh School Education Board Chairman, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, during his one-day visit to the tribal region of Bharmaur on Saturday, held a meeting with officials of various departments at the Public Works Department Rest House.
In the meeting, Dr. Sharma directed the concerned officers to strengthen the standard of education and ensure effective implementation of various welfare schemes being carried out by the state government. He emphasized that the benefits of these schemes must reach eligible people in a timely and transparent manner so that the general public can derive maximum advantage.
Dr. Sharma also held detailed discussions on the infrastructural and academic facilities available in different schools under the Bharmaur tribal area.
During the meeting, Principal of Government Senior Secondary School Bharmaur, Aruna Chadak, shared important information related to the school. Assistant Engineer of the Public Works Department, Sanjeev Kumar, apprised the gathering about ongoing projects in the Bharmaur subdivision under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and other schemes.
Earlier, Dr. Sharma was accorded a warm welcome by the local people, who honored him with a shawl, cap, and memento.
