Through relentless hard work, discipline, and determination, Gaurav, son of Shri Balbir Singh from Rajiayana village, Ward No. 1 near 53 Mile in Kangra district, has achieved the prestigious rank of Lieutenant in the Indian Army. He was officially commissioned on June 13, 2026, through the Military Cadet Course (MCC).

Gaurav served the Indian Army with dedication and integrity for 13 years, fulfilling his duties with distinction. Alongside his service, he continued to enhance his academic qualifications, ultimately realizing his dream of becoming an officer through perseverance, discipline, and self-confidence.

His achievement has brought immense pride not only to his family but also to the entire Rajiayana village, Nagrota Bagwan, and the wider region. His success stands as an inspiration to the youth, proving that with clear goals and consistent effort, any milestone can be reached.

It is noteworthy that Gaurav’s father, Shri Balbir Singh, also served the nation, retiring as a Subedar from the Indian Army. Gaurav credited his success to the values instilled by his parents, the unwavering support of his wife, Mrs. Varsha Kaushal, the guidance of senior officers in his unit, and the encouragement of well-wishers.
