Police District Nurpur has achieved a remarkable milestone in the latest CCTNS – Pragati Dashboard Ranking released by SCRB Shimla, securing second place across Himachal Pradesh with 41.12 points. District Shimla narrowly led with 41.15 points. This recognition highlights Nurpur Police’s professional and timely use of digital tools under the new criminal laws, including e‑evidence and e‑summons applications, ensuring efficient and accurate data entry.
In the ICJS (Interoperable Criminal Justice System) Ranking, Nurpur Police outperformed all 15 districts in the state, clinching the first position for its swift and effective use of digital investigation tools. Notably, Nurpur Police Station ranked first statewide, while six police stations from the district — Nurpur, Indora, Rehan, Jawali, Damtal, and Fatehpur — secured places in the Top 20 police stations of Himachal Pradesh.
