Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Mukesh Repswal today visited Dalhousie to review preparations for the upcoming Municipal Council elections. During his inspection, he examined various polling stations, the strong room, counting center, and other arrangements linked to the election process.
He directed officials to take all necessary measures to ensure that the elections are conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner. The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed basic facilities at polling stations, including security arrangements, electricity supply, and drinking water availability.
Repswal emphasized that preparations are being carried out strictly in line with the guidelines of the Election Commission. He added that officials and staff deployed on election duty have been provided with clear instructions to maintain coordination and ensure the smooth conduct of the electoral process.
The inspection was attended by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil) Dalhousie Anil Bhardwaj, Tehsildar Ramesh Chauhan, and other officers and staff.
