The auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and Shri Parshuram Jayanti was celebrated with great fervor today at the Parshuram Bhavan premises, Vinay Gali, Nurpur.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and invocation of Lord Parshuram by Chief Guest Arun Sharma, Sub-Divisional Officer Nurpur, and Special Guest Dinanath Panjolia. The gathering honored the dignitaries with traditional shawls and mementos, presented by Inder Pal Sharma, President of the Sabha, along with executive members.
A highlight of the event was the Yajnopavit (sacred thread) ceremony for the youth, symbolizing the embrace of values, culture, and tradition. The initiative aimed to instill discipline, civility, and cultural pride in the younger generation.
In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of social upliftment and urged everyone to follow the ideals of Lord Parshuram. The ceremony also included the felicitation of distinguished personalities and meritorious students, recognizing their contributions and achievements.
