Police Station Fatehpur registered FIR No. 48/26 under Section 21 of the NDPS Act after a successful operation led to the recovery of narcotics.
During a naka/checking near Upper Barot, close to a roadside dhaba, police intercepted a suspicious individual. On searching, the team recovered 3.26 grams of chitta (heroin) from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Sahil alias Gajjo, 28, resident of Ward No. 4, Barot, Tehsil Fatehpur, District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh). He has been served notice under Section 35(3) BNSS as per legal procedure.
The seized contraband has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway.
