In a remarkable initiative symbolizing the spirit of unity, Col. Jeet Bahadur, Member and Vice-President of the War Memorial Development Society, has set out on a Solo Motorcycle Unity Expedition covering all districts of Himachal Pradesh. The journey, which began today, will continue until April 15, Himachal Day.
During this expedition, Col. Bahadur will collect soil from every district of the state. This soil will be used to plant 12 Unity Trees at the War Memorial in Dharamshala, creating a special grove named “Ekta Upvan” — a living symbol of Himachal’s strength and solidarity.
The expedition was flagged off by Col. Jai Ganesh, Senior Vice-President of the War Memorial Development Society, in the presence of Governing Council Members and other society members. They extended their heartfelt wishes and support to Col. Bahadur as he embarked on this unique mission.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kuldeep Banta, Press Secretary of the Society, highlighted the significance of the initiative, noting that the Unity Trees will stand as a lasting tribute to the collective identity and pride of Himachal Pradesh.
