In a significant breakthrough against drug trafficking, the Nurpur Police District achieved success under its ongoing special campaign. Acting on reliable intelligence, the CIA team conducted a search operation at a residential premises in village Takhnar, Post Office Bhali, Tehsil Jawali. During the raid, 600 grams of charas was recovered from the possession of the accused.

Superintendent of Police, Nurpur, emphasized that the district police is working with a “zero tolerance” policy against drug trafficking. He assured that strict action will persist against such offenders. The public has also been urged to share any information related to drug activities with the police without delay.
