Preparations are underway to celebrate the sacred festival of Shivratri with great enthusiasm and traditional fervour at the historic Chaurasi Temple Complex in Bharmour. The centuries-old religious site is witnessing a festive atmosphere as devotees and organizers gear up for the grand occasion.
As per tradition, the Chaurasi Yuvak Mandal Bharmour will organize the Shivratri Mahotsav on February 15, continuing its annual legacy of celebrating the festival in a grand and devotional manner. Members of the Yuvak Mandal stated that the festival symbolizes religious faith, cultural heritage, and social harmony.
The celebrations will include special prayers and rituals dedicated to Lord Shiva, along with religious and cultural programmes reflecting the rich traditions of the region. The organizers emphasized that the Shivratri Mahotsav is not just a religious event but also a platform to strengthen community bonding and preserve local culture.
The Yuvak Mandal has appealed to local residents as well as tourists from outside the region to visit Bharmour and participate in the festival. They noted that the participation of visitors will help promote the cultural identity and heritage of Bharmour, making the festival even more memorable.
