As part of the Good Governance Week, a special camp was organised in Sanchui Panchayat of Bharmaur subdivision under the Administration Towards Villages campaign. The programme was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bharmaur, Keshav Ram Kohli.
During the camp, the ADM emphasized that the administration is reaching out to villages to listen to the grievances of the people and resolve them promptly. A number of complaint letters were received, most of which were settled on the spot. Officials were instructed to take citizens’ issues seriously and ensure time‑bound solutions.
The ADM noted that the majority of problems related to roads and water supply, and directions have already been issued to concerned departments for their resolution. He highlighted that the administration is committed to addressing issues at people’s doorsteps with the aim of public cooperation and service. He further stated that the government and administration are making serious efforts to implement welfare measures effectively and ensure that citizens benefit from them.
Officials from the Animal Husbandry Department also informed villagers about various welfare schemes being run by the government.
The camp witnessed the presence of officers and employees from different departments, elected representatives of Gram Panchayat Sanchui, and a large number of local residents.
