Bharmour:
A fire safety mock drill was conducted on Thursday (April 10, 2025) at Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS) at Bharmour in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh in collaboration with the Fire Station-Khadamukh, Bharmour.
The drill aimed to educate students on fire safety measures and train them on how to respond effectively in case of a fire emergency.

During the demonstration, students were given practical knowledge on how to act quickly and safely during fire incidents, including evacuation techniques and the use of basic firefighting tools.
The team from the Fire Station, led by in-charge Jeet Singh, along with Bali Ram, Home Guard Sanjeev Kumar and Driver Inder Singh, conducted the drill and shared vital information about fire prevention and control.

The exercise was met with keen interest from students, who actively participated and asked questions. The officials emphasised the importance of awareness and swift action in preventing injuries during fire-related emergencies.

School Principal Aruna Chadak, along with teachers Vijay Kumar, Chaman Singh, Vivek Kumar, Praveen Kumari, Monika Devi and Manjeet Singh, were present at the event and appreciated the fire department’s efforts in spreading awareness among school children
