PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Bakloh marked its 43rd Annual Day celebrations on Monday with great joy and grandeur. The event witnessed active participation from students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests.

  • Chief Guest: Colonel Safiq Faizi, Commandant of Army Medical Corps Military Hospital, Bakloh
  • Special Guest: Nirmala Devi

The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome through the presentation of saplings to the guests.

🌟 Highlights of the Event

  • The Principal presented the Annual Report, showcasing the school’s achievements through a PowerPoint presentation.
  • A vibrant cultural program featured Rajasthani, Gujarati, Punjabi, Himachali, and Nepali folk dances. The Nepali dance drew loud applause from the audience.
  • A special performance titled “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” paid tribute to soldiers and farmers.
  • Students staged a short play against drug abuse, spreading awareness among peers and parents.

🏆 Awards & Recognition

  • Meritorious students were honored with awards by the Chief Guest and Special Guest.
  • Teachers and staff members were also recognized for their dedicated contributions.

🎤 Inspiring Address

In his speech, Colonel Safiq Faizi praised the students’ performances and emphasized the vital role of teachers in shaping responsible citizens. He remarked:

“Just as a stone is carved into a diamond, teachers guide students to become loyal and responsible citizens.”

He highlighted the importance of holistic development, moral values, and patriotism, noting that such celebrations instill cultural pride and a sense of duty towards society and the nation.

The program was anchored by School Captains Somil Rana and Nikita Kumari, while Om Prakash, PGT Hindi, delivered the vote of thanks. The event concluded with a strong message of unity, inspiration, and patriotism, leaving the audience deeply moved.
