Maharishi Vidya Mandir School in Khatehad, Dharamshala witnessed a vibrant and spiritually uplifting celebration on the occasion of the birthday of Brahmachari Dr. Girish Ji, Chairman of the Maharishi Organisation. The event was organised under the banner of the Maharishi Adhyatmik Jan Jagran Abhiyan (MAJA), and began with traditional Vedic rituals including Guru Poojan and a collective session of Transcendental Meditation.

The school principal, Mr. Arun Kumar Sharma, along with teachers and staff, led devotional recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa and Ram Stuti. Adding to the spiritual ambiance, music teacher Ms. Deepshikha Soni presented soulful bhajans such as “Duniya Mein Dev Hazaron Hai” and “Veer Hanumana Ati Balwana,” which resonated deeply with the audience.
The entire school community came together to extend heartfelt birthday wishes to Brahmachari Dr. Girish Ji, expressing gratitude for his visionary leadership and spiritual guidance. The program reflected the core values of the Maharishi tradition—peace, harmony, and universal well-being.
As part of the MAJA initiative, the event also included a collective pledge for global peace and goodwill. Attendees joined in a solemn resolution to promote harmony and spiritual awakening in society. The celebration concluded with the distribution of prasad, symbolizing unity and shared blessings.
