The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is all set to release the Class 10 board examination results for the academic session 2024-25 at 2.30 pm on Thursday (May 15, 2025).
Speaking to The Newz Radar, Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Secretary Dr Major Vishal Sharma they were all set to release the Class 10 results today.
Vishal Sharma said the result for the Class 12 board examination too would be declared soon.
Two days ago, the HPBOSE Secretary had said that the results were expected to be declared on or before May 15.
The Class 10 exams were conducted from March 4 to March 22, 2025, and the Class 12 exams concluded on March 28, 2025.
According to officials, the evaluation process was completed by May 8 and preparations for Class 12 result compilation and publication are also in their final stages.
Students advised to keep roll numbers ready
With the Class 10 HPBOSE board results expected at 2.30 pm, students who appeared for the exams are advised to keep their roll numbers and essential details handy to check their results as soon as they are published.
Once declared, the results will be available on the official HPBOSE website and other authorised platforms.
In 2024, Class 12 results were declared first
Last year, HPBOSE announced the Class 12 results on April 29, 2024, followed by the Class 10 results on May 7, 2024. In the 2024 Class 12 examinations, a total of 85,777 students had appeared, of whom 63,092 passed. The success stories included 30,572 boys and 32,520 girls, with girls once again outperforming boys across all three streams.
In 2024, Kamakhshi Sharma and Chhaya Chauhan topped the Science stream with 494 marks (98.80%), while Arshita and Shavya led in Arts and Commerce, securing 490 marks (98%). However, the board had also reported 13,276 compartment cases, with 9,103 students unable to clear the exams.
