Bharmaur:-In response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Bharmaur Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal, along with Bajrang Dal and other local organizations, organized a complete shutdown and protest rally in Bharmaur, Holi, and Garola on April 24.

The attack, which targeted tourists based on their religion, has sparked outrage among the tribal communities in the Bharmaur subdivision.

The protest began with a shutdown of Bharmaur market until 11 AM, followed by a joint rally where slogans condemning Pakistan were raised. Similar demonstrations were held in Garola market, where protesters also burned an effigy of Pakistan.

The participants demanded strict punishment for the perpetrators of the attack and urged the government to take decisive action against anti-national forces.

Leaders of the Bharmaur Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal, including President Ranjit Sharma, General Secretary Mahindra Patial, Vice President Sumit Thakur, and other prominent members, emphasized the need for justice and called for stringent measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

The rally saw active participation from local residents, intellectuals, and members of various organizations, all united in their condemnation of the attack.
