The police are interrogating all six suspects and intensifying efforts to locate additional members involved in the ring.

Kingpin arrested in Baddi raid
On October 17, the police arrested a smuggler in Shimla’s Kumarsain with 47 grams of chitta. During questioning, the police uncovered ties to an inter-state chitta smuggling network.
Acting on this lead, the police launched a raid in Solan’s Baddi and successfully arrested the gang’s kingpin, Dalip Kumar, alias Radhe, who originally belonged to Kumarsain. Radhe has long been supplying chitta in Rampur and Kullu and was a significant figure in the local drug trade, the police said.
