Mandi: Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh depicted political maturity by raising concerns about the recent incident where BJP MP Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a female CISF guard. In a social media post, Singh highlighted that security personnel, who are assigned to maintain security arrangements, being involved in such incidents is a warning sign.
Although Singh contested elections against Ranaut and engaged in heated debates with her, his statement has prompted political analysts to reflect on his approach, linking it to the legacy of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.
Suresh Kumar, a political analyst from Kangra, remarked that politicians, doctors, lawyers, and journalists are not made in any university or college; they are refined through experiences and learnings, making them assets to society. “He is the son of the tallest leader of Himachal Pradesh, and this statement shows how mature he is,” said Kumar.
Despite losing the elections to Kangana Ranaut, Vikramaditya Singh accepted the verdict with grace. The concern raised by the Congress leader is a serious matter, given the gravity of the situation where security personnel are breaching protocols they are responsible for maintaining.
